System Health Check

STORServer offers a comprehensive System Health Check for STORServer® Backup Appliance customers who have had their systems installed for at least a year, have experienced staff turnover, or are experiencing rapid and significant changes to their system and storage infrastructure. STORServer is known worldwide for its expertise in data backup and for defining best practices for the implementation and operation of its backup appliances.

OBJECTIVES

The project scope is outlined through discussion of issues and creation of objectives with system administrators.

REVIEW

The backup appliance hardware and software, including Disaster Recovery Manager implementation, are reviewed to identify any items of concern.

ANALYSIS

Various diagnostics are run and a thorough data analysis of performance, reliability, historical trends, and system growth is performed.

CHANGE PLANNING

Based on objectives, review, and analysis, configuration changes are identified that will best meet your needs. A plan is put in place to implement the changes.

CONSULTATION

Consultation with customer personnel will occur to answer technical questions, implement suggestions, and perform knowledge transfer.

REPORTING

A detailed report will outline current system configuration, recommended changes, and future requirements to meet projected system growth.
