STORServer resellers invited to annual kickoff event in Colorado Springs

Three-day family friendly event will focus on helping STORServer resellers make more money selling STORServer’s data backup products

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Dec. 10, 2012) – On Jan. 14-16, STORServer®, the leading provider of proven data backup solutions for the mid-market, is inviting all reseller partners‚”current and prospective” to its annual kickoff event at the Gardens of the Gods Club in Colorado Springs. During the three-day family friendly event, resellers will learn how to make more money selling STORServer’s industry-leading line of data backup hardware, software and services in 2013.

The schedule of events is as follows:

  • Jan. 14: Family dinner at the Garden of the Gods Club, which offers stunning views of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods Park.
  • Jan. 15: A full day of in-depth conversations focusing on money, margins, new models and sales cycles. STORServer will also inform resellers of opportunities with co-op marketing funds, hosting events and face-to-face training.
  • Jan. 16: The morning will consist of one-on-one meetings with STORServer executives, so the company can better understand each partner’s needs for 2013. The meetings will conclude by early afternoon.

The specific line-up of topics that will be discussed on Jan. 15 includes:

Making money with STORServer
STORServer will cover everything from margins to sales cycles to product upgrades and keeping customers happy. The company will explain how disk growth and changing environments provide resellers with opportunities to increase revenue.

Meet the STORServer family of products
STORServer’s software and appliance lines, including the new STORServer Hybrid Appliance (HA) and Virtual Appliance, will highlight this discussion.

How does STORServer stack up against the other vendors?
STORServer will take an in-depth look at EMC, Symantec and others, and discuss how resellers can beat them in this session. There will also be conversation about the new opportunity resellers have with the “Butterfly Project” in displacing the other vendors at your account.

Working with STORServer
How resellers can use STORServer’s tools to receive benefits, such as lead identification, registrations, quoting and more will be the topic of this session.
