COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Oct. 27, 2014) – In the wake of Symantec™ ending sales of its Backup Exec 3600 Appliance, STORServer® today announces its replacement program for Symantec Backup Exec appliance customers, offering a free assessment of their storage and hardware configurations.
On Oct. 10, Symantec announced the discontinuation of its Backup Exec 3600 Appliance effective Jan. 5, 2015. During STORServer’s limited-time replacement program, the company is offering to have its professionally certified consultants perform a free assessment for Symantec customers to see if the Backup Exec system is running smoothly and determine if it can be reconfigured to function better.
