(June 10, 2015) – STORServer®, a leading provider of proven data backup solutions, announces that Katie Nielsen, senior channel manager, has been named to the 2015 CRN Women of the Channel. This is Katie’s second consecutive year to win the award. The annual list highlights the accomplishments of female executives within vendor, distribution and solution provider organizations, and the impact they are having on the advancement of the IT channel industry as a whole.

With two decades of experience in the channel, Nielsen has spent the past 13 years in her current role at STORServer. Over the past year Nielsen has strengthened ties with STORServer’s business partners in order to generate new revenue opportunities and expand their backup, archive and disaster recovery lines of their business with enterprise data protection appliances. She has been an integral part of increasing product offerings based on end-user and partner feedback, and concentrated on STORServer’s messaging including core benefits of simplicity, power and trusted support.
